It is estimated that more than 70,000 people visited Valletta last night, in a celebration of our country’s history, art and culture.
In his comments on this sought-after event, Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government Owen Bonnici said that, “elements which make up our country’s cultural ecology are being more valorized through initiatives of this nature, whilst bringing more and more families closer to culture.”
More than 250 artists have participated in 54 different events, which were well received by their audiences.
The Courts of Justice also participated for the first time in Notte Bianca. Many members of the public took the opportunity to visit its court halls and watch a delightful play on a fictitious criminal process.
Next year’s Notte Bianca will be held on the 3rd of October 2020.
